On Saturday the 13th of Feburary, we're going to have a roving street party in Newtown! PLEASE invite your friends!
Suprise! bands, sound systems and installations along the way, ending up in a beautiful lost alleyway of the inner west.
To celebrate local music and art, to assert our rights to live in the roads usually given over to cars and to get to know our local laneways that make up our neighbourhoods.
This is not a protest against anything, more a celebration of our potential and the potential of our neighbourhoods.

Spending the last of my fortune taking advantage of my friends buying their art at stupid prices all under the principle of NEVER SPEND YOUR LAST DOLLAR PAYING BILLS, BUY AN ICE CREAM (and other justifications for the making of art)

Just for background...  I am a recently become co-director @ At The Vanishing Point Gallery in Newtown.  To those who know this I seriously apologize  for allowing promotion of the gallery to swamp personal and interpersonal use of social networking sites that shall here remain unnamed.  I really don't want this blog to be about promoting the gallery, nevertheless I suspect it will feature large as it is a major part of my life right now.
