The Eric Morris system: is derived partly from Lee Strasberg's Method Acting, but focussing more on the actor's instrument. Facing struggle in finding truth, and recognising the fact that actors have emotional blocks, tension, insecurities and other preventions of achieving a fundamental state of being, thus rendering the actor truly organic. There are 7 major obligations to material, 1) Time and Place, 2) Relationship, 3) Emotional Obligation, 4) Character Obligation, 5) Historic Obligation, 6) Thematic Obligation, 7) Directorial Obligation. This system has received enormous praise from such actors as Jack Nicholson and Johnny Depp.

The Eric Morris Method, incorporated with scenes from Pulp Fiction, should prove to be an interesting and unusual workshop, presenting the actor with an opportunity to explore, let loose and take some risks within a safe and fun environment.

Students may bring along a dvd to record their work in progress.
